Cobequid Young Company (CYCo)
Cobequid Young Company was founded in 2016 to give CDA dancers an opportunity to participate in a variety of performances throughout the year, and to gain pre-professional experience by working with numerous choreographers to create new works and re-mount existing repertoire. To-date some of their performance highlights include The CEHHCF Annual Fundraising Gala, Rotary Club Truro Annual Bollywood Night, Snapshots at MCPA and Local Love Truro.
Elements Crew
Elements Crew was founded in 2017 to give CDA dancers an opportunity to train more intensively in Breaking and Hip Hop and participate in performances throughout the year, gaining pre-professional experience by working with numerous teachers and choreographers to create new works and re-mount existing repertoire. With a focus on Breaking and Hip Hop, Elements Crew has been an integral part of building the Breaking community here in Truro. Some performance highlights to-date include CDA's B-Side Hip Hop Festival, Town of Truro and DTP Canada Day events at Civic Square and Pride Day celebrations.
